DDA Bring Back the Beach and That's My Brick!^® have joined forces to raise money for our project! The Dexter Development Association is working hard to restore the Dexter Public Beach. This 5-acre property is the most valuable and beautiful piece of land in Dexter. Our community volunteers have initiated a grass-roots effort to make many improvements that includes cleaning up the shoreline, new signage, a bath house, swimming lessons, lifeguard, and playground resurfacing, to name a few.  We’re not done yet! It is our goal to add new playground equipment, picnic tables, a walking trail, outdoor workout equipment, resurface parking lots, improve landscaping, and add a new pavilion for concerts, parties, and community gatherings. Our beach is a part of our history, and we want to preserve it for future generations to enjoy. By purchasing bricks that support our cause, we will be able to complete our project while creating a meaningful beach walking area that celebrates our community legacy. Bricks can be purchased for memorial, to celebrate living family and households, and even recognize supportive businesses and organizations!

You don’t have to live in Dexter to help, just share the same passion we have to "Bring Back the Beach". Please know in doing so you are improving the lifestyle of Dexter and surrounding communities.
