Baton Rouge African American Museum

Baton Rouge African American Museum and That's My Brick!® have joined forces to raise money for our project! It is our mission to serve the Greater Baton Rouge Metropolitan area to build mutual respect and understanding of the contributions African Americans have made to American society and culture for the express purpose of cultivating peace and unity. The museum seeks to build self-esteem by educating children and adults alike about the rich cultural history of African Americans as inventors, civic and business leaders, educators, writers, and local and national elected officials. The goal of this fundraiser is to invite community members to participate in and gain from the museum's vision of education, mutual respect and understanding. In this way, we can renovate the new location of the Baton Rouge African American Museum (BRAAM) including an original Baton Rouge Bus Boycott bus and build community together.
