Growing our Community Garden One Brick at a Time
Old 30 Community Garden and That's My Brick!® have joined forces to raise money for our project! The Old 30 Community Garden is our Family's way of being a part of the solution to food insecurity and lack of community involvement projects. The purpose of our garden is to improve community health through better nutrition and increased physical activity, build a stronger community, and to provide opportunities for learning to grow food in the garden and at home. We also believe that it will assist garden members in relieving stress which increases wellness. The garden is located at Old 30 Dirty Family Farm in Jacksonville, NC on Old 30 Road. Funds from this project will allow us to continue to increase growing and meeting spaces and help offset the cost of building a restroom for visitors and gardeners.
