Saving Grace
Incorporated in 1995 Grace House is a non-profit organization offering transitional and semi-permanent housing and support services for homeless men and women living with HIV/AIDS and women recovering from substance abuse. Many applicants who apply to Grace House have no resources, are homeless, and have limited or no contact with family members.
Grace House was established to provide a place where men with a common bond, (HIV/AIDS), could live with integrity and without fear and prejudice. At the time Grace House consisted of one house, which could take in a maximum of twelve residents. In 2000, Grace House II was dedicated next door to the original facility and expanded the number of residents to eighteen, including women.
